Letter
Dear
Credit Union Member:
This year GEMC FCU is celebrating the 10th birthday of our
partnership with GreyStone Power Corporation.
We
are delighted that we have the opportunity to provide the
added benefit of credit union membership on site at GreyStone
Power's two offices and to serve so many of their members.
We are also grateful for the support GreyStone Power has
offered and the opportunities this partnership has afforded
the credit union. Our growth over the last 10 years has
made us stronger and allowed us to provide a higher level
of service to all of our members. Since the inception of
this partnership, GEMC FCU has expanded our services to
include bill pay service, Web Account Access, Internet check
ordering, an enhanced website, interactive online loan applications
and two ATM locations. This expansion has equipped us to
fill the role of primary financial institution for many
of our members and prepared us for future growth.
As
we look forward to continued growth, we are enhancing the
services we offer to our young members. We believe the credit
union is a vital and valuable resource for helping young
people establish healthy financial habits that will be of
great benefit throughout their lives. So many young people
don’t possess fundamental financial skills such as
balancing a check book. These basic skills often are no
longer included in many school curriculums. GEMC FCU believes
it is very important to help young people get a grasp on
their financial future before they start out on their own.

— a place they can come to have someone sit down with
them and teach them to balance their checkbook or use home
banking.
