Overdraft Protection for your GEMC FCU checking account is automatically provided. If an overdraft occurs, GEMC FCU transfers funds from member's savings account to cover the discrepancy. A transfer fee is charged for this transaction.*

Overdraft Privilege is an outstanding service that allows members to adjust to untimely bills without the headaches of returned checks and merchant fees. For eligible accounts, GEMC FCU will allow an overdraft of up to $700 ($400 for Free Checking) as long as the account remains in good standing and the account is brought back to a positive balance within the Overdraft Privilege timeline.
