The GEMC FCU Concert Sweepstakes is sponsored by the GEMC FCU located at 2100 East Exchange Place, Tucker GA. 30084. The Concert Sweepstakes is governed by these official rules. By participating in the Concert Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to these official rules, including eligibility requirements. The Concert Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and municipal laws and is void where prohibited by law.
Eligibility
Concert Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States residing in Georgia, who must also be 18 years of age as of March 31, 2008. Employees, officers and directors of GEMC FCU and their immediate family members (defined as spouse, mother, father-in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister children and grandchildren) are not eligible to win. All eligible applicants must be members of GEMC FCU.
Entry
Concert Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. on April 1, 2008 and ends 11:59p.m. June 30, 2008(Concert Sweepstakes period). To enter the Concert Sweepstakes each member that enrolls in E-Statements entered into the contest. Members currently enrolled in E-Statements are eligible. The sponsor is not responsible for electronic network, scanner or computer hardware or software malfunction and/or transmission failure, loss or delayed or corrupted, date transmissions, or any technical or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or precession go entries or difficulties of any kind.
Prize
The Concert Sweepstakes prize will be two tickets for one winner and his/her guest to see Lee Ann Rimes in Concert July 13th, 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia.
ALL EXPENSES, TAXES, AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRIZE ARE THE PBILGHATION OF THE WINNER. PRIZE IS AWARED WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND BY SPONSOR, EAPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITHOUT LIMITATION.
Sponsor reserved the right to award a prize of equal or greater value or make other reasonable accommodations in the event of unavailabity of the stated prize.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Odds of winning are 1 in 11,285. These figures are based upon current GEMC FCU members as of 2/28/08.
Drawing
The Concert Sweepstakes drawing will be held June 30, 2008. Only entries received before the end of the Concert Sweepstakes period will be eligible. The prize winner will be selected in random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Concert Sweepstakes period.
The winner will be notified at the phone number, address, and/or e-mail address currently on file.
If the selected winner fails to contact sponsor to claim the prize within 7 days of the sending or posting of notification, or if the selected winner cannot be located through reasonable, good faith efforts by the sponsor, an alternative winner may be selected from among the remaining eligible entries.
If by reason of a printing, computer, production or other error, more than one winning entry is claimed; all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a random drawing to award the prize.
In the event this Sweepstakes is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend the Sweepstakes and in such event, to select winner for the prize by random drawing from among all valid entries received, up to such time of cancellation, termination or suspension. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges.
Publicity
By submitting an entry form, each entrant grants Sponsor and those acting under its authority permission to sue his/her name, likeness, and comments for advertising or publicity purposes without payment or additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Data Collection/Privacy
Sponsor will be collecting personal data about participants when they enter the sweepstakes. Personal data includes: name address, email address, and phone number(s). The information collected is never sold, given or disclosed to third parties.
Indemnification and Limitation of Liability
By entering this Concert Sweepstakes, each entrant aggress to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Sponsor subsidiaries and affiliates, distributors, vendors advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers and all their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from any liability, damages losses or injury resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from that entrant’s participation in the Concert Sweepstakes and the acceptance of the prize OR WHILE ENTRANT IS TRAVELING TO AND/OR FROM A LOCATION TO OBTAIN OR USE THE PRIZE. ALL SWEEPSTAKES WINNERS WILL BE REQURIED TO SIGN A LIABILTIY RELEASE PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE OF ANY PRIZE. FURTHER, NO RESPONSIBLITIES ARE ACCPTED BY SPONSOR FOR ANY ADDITIONAL EXPENSES, OMMISIONS, DELAYS,RE-ROUTING, OR ACTS OF ANY GOVERNMENT OR AUTHORITY OR FOR FAILURE OF THE EVENT TO TAKE PLACE FOR ANY REASON.
Entrant agrees that nay and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs (but in not way including attorneys ‘fees, disbursements of court costs) and under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant herby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and consequential damages, and other damages, other than for actual out-of –pocket cost.
Governing Law
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpreting and enforceability of these official rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Concert Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia.
