Web Bill Pay is now free!
Bill pay
is another convenient service that can save you money. Rather
than write traditional checks to merchants, you can automatically
pay them online from your credit union account. This service
is now free for GEMC FCU members!* You must maintain a checking
account with the credit union.
Using Web Bill Pay involves only 3 basic steps:
- Set up your personal list of merchants.
- Pay your bills today, in the future, or on a recurring schedule.
- Change or cancel your payment information as necessary.
Web Bill Pay will not make tax payments, make payments for other government obligations, such as court-directed payments, or make transfers between your accounts.
Web Bill Pay Processing Payment Schedule
Web Bill Pay begins processing all payments scheduled for each business day at 2 p.m., E.S.T. If you need to schedule, change or delete a payment for that day, you must do so before 2 p.m., E.S.T.
If you do not have enough money in your account to cover your payment, the payment is failed and you receive a "failed payment" message when you access the electronic messaging system.
